COVID-19 (Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2)

We would like to use this opportunity to thank you for your patience and cooperation in these unprecedented times.

As you know, the rapidly evolving COVID-19 (Coronavirus-SARS-CoV-2) outbreak is causing health concerns as well as travel constraints that are affecting events across the world, including the DNC2020.

In order not to compromise the conference goal, the DNC Steering Committee has made the decision to go ahead with the realisation of the DNC2020, but as an online event only. In order to do this, we have identified programme elements that will be offered in new digital formats.

We hope to use this crisis as an opportunity to enable broader participation worldwide and will thus offer this virtual event entirely free of charge. If you have already registered for the conference, we will reimburse the delegate fees.

In order to keep up to date, please check our website regularly. We will keep you informed about the developments of the programme, the new digital formats, and all related procedures.

The Dresden Nexus Conference (DNC) series is dedicated to advancing a Nexus Approach to natural resource management. DNC is organised by the United Nations University (UNU-FLORES), the Technische Universität Dresden (TU Dresden), and the Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER).

The DNC2020 will now take place in a virtual format and will provide:
